Responsibilities
- Hands-on leader of the Application Development team
- Take ownership in all levels of applications within the organisation, in terms of customer and internal usage
- Drive the development and implementation of new technologies, processes, and work flows
- Collaborate with stakeholders and other IT teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions within tight time lines.
- Able to lead a team in tackling technology issues and bring out effective solution that align with the business
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, kubernetes, and related technologies.
- 1+ year of experience in a leadership or management role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and team members.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects and tasks effectively.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Proactive in driving new technologies and processes to improve software development practices.
