My client is seeking a proficient Quant Python Developer to join their Algorithmic Trading team. If you are seeking the opportunity to work with a global investment bank with a front office business environment then go no further. After successfully obtaining this role you will be situated on the Electronic Execution Desk working on a fully in-house developed trading platform. You will directly work with Equity Traders, global team of Quants and Technologists to deliver high quality, cutting-edge quantitative execution solutions.

Your Responsibilities

  • Drive the improvement of data, quant research, model calibration and back testing infrastructure
  • Carry out custom client-driven execution research, provide quantitative advisory services to clients
  • Research market micro structure and trading models and help to implement

Essential Skills to be Successful in the Role

  • Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science or another quantitative subject
  • Strong programming skills in Python with a proven interest in computer science
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong data pipe lining and analysis skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong team player and open to new ideas with ability to pay attention to details even under pressure
  • Self-motivated, keen learner and strong sense of ownership and accountability

Want an Advantage in Obtaining the Role - Have these Skills

  • Ability to code in q/kdb+
  • Development experience in C# or other object oriented programming languages
  • Experience in applying statistical and machine learning techniques to real-life problems
  • Experience in algorithmic execution
