Senior Manager, Life Claims

Job summary
- Monitor the team performance to ensure meeting the service turnaround and quality of work
- Assess and approve major and minor claims, claim payment requisitions, and reviewing and issuing correspondences
- Communicate with reinsurers, lawyers, other insurance companies, doctors and /or investigator in connection with claim processing
- Responsible for maintenance of claims manuals, evaluate and approve all types of claims applications with the assigned authority

- Responsible for maintenance of claims manuals, evaluate and approve all types of claims applications with the assigned authority
- Lead and coordinate system enhancement activities and oversee UAT activities such as preparation of test plan, test cases, pre-UAT quality check, monitoring of bug fixing, retest progress, UAT reports and post implementation monitoring
- Driving initiatives / projects to uplift operations efficiency and customer experience , ensure owned projects are delivered on time, within budget and aligned with company strategy
- Participate in product development, comment on the product features / suggest possible product features to Product Development team from claims perspectives
- Handle customer complaints and resolving disputes and maintain strong relationships
