Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to meet or exceed new business growth targets for the firm's general insurance property and casualty products
  • Identify and qualify new prospective corporate and commercial clients aligned with the firm's target market and growth objectives
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers at target client organizations
  • Effectively present and pitch the firm's value proposition, products, and services to secure new business
  • Work collaboratively with the underwriting, product, and client service teams to provide a superior client experience
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and client needs to identify new business opportunities
  • Maintain detailed records and reporting on sales pipeline, new business wins, and growth metrics
  • Attend relevant industry events, conferences, and networking functions to expand the firm's market reach

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of proven experience in business development, sales, or account management roles within the insurance industry
  • Strong understanding of general insurance property and casualty products and the commercial/corporate insurance market
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to achieve sales goals
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
