Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership in delivering expert counsel on employee benefits and ensuring exceptional service for a portfolio of designated accounts, in alignment with compliance and internal control standards.
- Oversee the negotiation, implementation, and management of comprehensive employee benefits programs for clients, enhancing operational efficiency and overall client satisfaction.
- Lead a small team of professionals (2-3), cultivating a collaborative environment that promotes professional growth and high performance.
- Direct the evaluation of benefit plan quotations, the preparation of customized client proposals, and the creation of detailed analytical reports and presentation materials.
- Supervise claims management for assigned accounts, working closely with the claims department on complex or high-value claims, while facilitating clear communication among clients, insurers, and overseas offices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in insurance, specifically within employee benefits at a brokerage or insurance company, including management experience.
- ACII or ANZIIF (Senior Associate) designation is advantageous, or in progress, along with successful completion of IIQE Papers I and II.
- Proven track record in client engagement, particularly in face-to-face interactions for meetings, seminars, and briefings.
- Extensive knowledge of various employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Chinese word processing is a plus
- Candidates with varying levels of experience will be considered for the role or more junior positions.
