Our client, a prominent international insurer, is seeking a Senior Claims Manager to join their Personal Lines Claims Department. Candidates with less experience may be considered for a Manager position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the entire Claims Department.
- Develop and mentor team members to ensure performance meets expectations.
- Assess current workflows and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Formulate and implement strategies and development plans to achieve company profitability and growth objectives.
- Prepare management reports and analyze statistics related to the department's performance.
- Provide technical expertise in managing complex and high-value claims.
- Participate in ad hoc projects as required.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in the general insurance industry; experience in personal lines is a plus.
- Proven management experience, with strong strategic planning and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex and large technical claims, along with project management experience.
- A responsible and results-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in English and Chinese.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
