Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) to join our dynamic Private Banking team in Hong Kong. In this support-driven yet growth-oriented role, you will work closely with Senior Relationship Managers (SRMs) to deliver exceptional, bespoke wealth management services to high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients.

Key Responsibilities

Client Portfolio Support:

Partner with Senior Relationship Managers to service existing HNW/UHNW client relationships, acting as a key point of contact for day-to-day inquiries and operational requests.

Account Opening & Onboarding:

Coordinate the end-to-end client onboarding and account opening process, ensuring strict adherence to KYC (Know Your Customer), AML (Anti-Money Laundering), and internal compliance standards.

Trade Execution & Portfolio Administration:

Assist RMs with executing trades, processing credit/lending requests, handling fund transfers, and managing portfolio administrative tasks seamlessly across various asset classes.

Client Reporting & Documentation:

Prepare regular portfolio reviews, wealth planning presentations, investment proposals, and meeting briefs for client pitches and annual reviews.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Coordinate with internal stakeholders—including investment advisory, legal, compliance, and operations teams—to resolve client queries and ensure smooth transaction execution.

Key Requirements
-
Experience: Minimum 3 to 6 years of relevant experience within private banking, wealth management, or corporate banking as an Assistant Relationship Manager, Client Service Executive, or Investment Operations specialist.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Regulatory Knowledge: Sound understanding of private banking compliance, regulatory frameworks (such as HKMA and SFC guidelines), and robust KYC/AML procedures.

Technical & Analytical Skills: Proficient in portfolio management systems, Bloomberg, and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Strong numerical and analytical capabilities.

Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a client-first mindset and high attention to detail.

Languages: Professional fluency in English and Cantonese / Mandarin is mandatory to effectively support regional and local client segments.
