We are seeking a high-caliber Assistant Vice President (AVP) to join their high-performing Global Commodities team in Hong Kong. Key Responsibilities

Product Marketing & Origination: Drive sales and marketing efforts for both Exchange-Traded and OTC commodity derivatives solutions to institutional corporates, state-owned enterprises (SOEs), funds, and trading houses.

Client Portfolio Management: Cultivate, expand, and manage key counterparty and client relationships; identify hedging and investment needs to deliver tailored commodity solutions.

Trade Execution & Support: Partner closely with internal trading desks to execute daily client orders seamlessly while providing end-to-end transaction support.

Risk Management & Limit Monitoring: Oversee daily trading positions, monitor client credit and risk exposures, and ensure all transactions align with internal risk frameworks.

New Business Development: Assist in developing new commodity products, organizing institutional marketing events, and capturing emerging market trends.

Regulatory Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to internal risk policies, HKMA/SFC regulatory frameworks, and market compliance standards.
Key Skills & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Financial Engineering, or a related discipline. CFA or relevant professional designation is an advantage.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in commodities derivatives sales, marketing, or structuring within a reputable investment bank, brokerage, or financial institution. Candidates with 2+ years of full-time working experience in Hong Kong or overseas are preferred.

Technical Knowledge: Strong product knowledge across OTC and Listed commodity derivatives (Futures, Options, Swaps, Structure Notes).

Regulatory Acumen: Solid understanding of regulatory, clearing, and compliance frameworks governing commodity derivatives markets.

Languages: Fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese (written and spoken) is essential to cover Greater China and international clients.
