Responsibilities:
- Engage with new SME & MME clients and manage the account opening process with professionalism and courtesy.
- Conduct thorough KYC and CDD checks on prospective customers, ensuring strict adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Drive business growth by achieving individual acquisition targets through securing new accounts.
- Assess client needs and recommend suitable banking products and services to meet their objectives.
- Take an active role in outreach marketing initiatives and provide guidance to junior Business Development team members.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, with at least 3 years of experience in the banking sector.
- Successful completion of Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examinations (IIQE Papers 1, 2, 3 or equivalent).
- Proven track record in delivering financial products and services to retail or commercial clients.
- Possession of relevant HKIB qualifications is an advantage; HKIB Certified Banker status preferred.
- Strong knowledge of retail banking products and services, with the ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Pass in Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) examination.
- Self-motivated, independent, results-driven, and an excellent team player.
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese; Putonghua is an asset.
