Key Responsibilities

New-to-Bank (NTB) Acquisition: Actively hunt and acquire new SME customers, focusing on driving deposits (CASA), commercial lending, and general banking services.

SME Lending & SFGS: Assess clients' financing needs and structure credit proposals, leveraging Special 100% Loan Guarantee (SFGS) and other commercial/SME loan products to support their business growth.

Portfolio Deepening & Cross-Selling: Maximize wallet share by cross-selling wealth management products, including Investment & Insurance (I&I) solutions, treasury, and MPF schemes.

Relationship & Risk Management: Establish trust-based relationships with SME business owners while maintaining a high standard of credit quality and risk management in line with the bank's policies.

Mentorship & Collaboration: Provide guidance to junior team members on business acquisition strategies and collaborate with internal product teams to streamline the onboarding and credit approval process.
Requirements

Education: Diploma holder or above, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of business development or relationship management experience in SME/Commercial banking. Proven track record in NTB acquisition is highly preferred.

Licensing & Credentials: Valid licenses for IIQE (Paper 1, 3, 5) and HKSI (Paper 1, 7, 8) are required for cross-selling Investment and Insurance products.

Product Expertise: Strong knowledge of SME banking products, deposit structures, commercial lending, and government-backed loan schemes (such as SFGS).

Soft Skills: A self-motivated "hunter" with a strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to negotiate effectively with business owners and stakeholders.

Languages: Fluency in spoken Cantonese and English is required; proficiency in Mandarin is a definite asset.
