Custody Operations - Assistant Manager

Role Overview
The Assistant Manager will oversee end-to-end processing of corporate actions, manage daily lifecycle events for structured products, facilitate custody and settlement functions, and coordinate IPO operations. Success is measured through accurate processing, timely execution, and effective stakeholder communication across regional markets.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Manage end-to-end processing of corporate action events across Hong Kong and APEC markets.
  • Oversee daily fixings and coupon settlements for Equity-Linked Notes (ELNs).
  • Execute daily fixing and lifecycle events for complex derivatives, including Accumulators and Decumulators.
  • Handle physical deposit and withdrawal processes in compliance with depository standards.
  • Facilitate non-trade Settlement Instructions across fixed income, ELNs, and Mutual Funds.
  • Coordinate with global custodians and transfer agents to resolve settlement discrepancies.
  • Manage operational lifecycle of IPOs, including application funding, share allocation, and distribution.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of the securities and brokerage industry standards.
  • Familiarity with Hong Kong depository and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with custodians, depositories, external brokers, and internal teams to ensure accurate notifications and timely instructions.
  • Oversee valuation, settlement, and physical transfer activities for custody and structured products.
  • Manage operational aspects of IPO processes, ensuring accurate reconciliation and distribution.
  • Resolve post-trade settlement exceptions or discrepancies in coordination with global counterparts.

Requirements

  • Right to work in Hong Kong.
  • Proven experience in securities operations, custody, or brokerage services.
  • Experience with APEC markets preferred.
  • Availability to start on 12/08/2026 for a duration of 2 weeks.
  • On-site working environment required.
