Role Overview
The Head of IT Division will lead the company’s technology strategy and operations, ensuring secure, efficient, and innovative IT solutions that support the company business. This role oversees all IT functions, including core card & loan systems, digital platforms, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance, enabling seamless credit and loan operations. Additionally, the role will lead the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to transform operations, enhance customer experience, and create competitive advantage.
Job Responsibilities:
Strategic Vision & Alignment:
· Define and execute the IT strategy and shape the roadmap to support business growth and operational efficiency.
· Drive digital transformation and innovation initiatives across the organization.
· Develop an AI adoption roadmap to embed automation into core business processes, enabling data-driven decision-making and operational excellence.
IT Operations & Systems Management:
· Manage day-to-day IT operations, including infrastructure, networks, and systems.
· Oversee core card & loan systems, ensuring stability, scalability, and compliance.
· Review and manage contingency plans for all IT systems in alignment with compliance and business requirements.
· Integrate AI-powered solutions into credit scoring, fraud detection, and customer personalization etc. to improve organizational efficiency and reduce risk.
IT Governance & Compliance:
· Manage IT policies, standards, and procedures in line with regulatory requirements.
· Lead IT governance, cybersecurity, data protection and PCIDSS frameworks.
Digital Transformation & Innovation
· Lead projects on automation, fintech integration, and digital customer platforms.
Resource Planning and leadership:
· Develop and manage IT budgets, optimizing resources for strategic priorities.
· Execute effective management of the IT team & vendors
Job Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
· Minimum 10 years of IT leadership experience, ideally in financial services or consumer finance.
· Strong knowledge of full cycle of IT services including infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
· Experience in AI strategy and implementation preferred.
· Proven track record in managing large-scale IT projects and regulatory compliance.
· Prior working exposure in Japanese Company is preferred.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
· Professional related qualification is an added advantage.
