Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marine Broker to spearhead the launch and growth of our marine business in Hong Kong and North Asia. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive business plan, establishing key partnerships, building a strong team, and driving sales and market share. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the Hong Kong and North Asia marine market, a proven track record of success in business development, and a passion for the marine industry.

Responsibilities:

Market Analysis & Strategy:

• Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities and trends in the Hong Kong & North Asia marine market (e.g., shipowners, charter services, marine equipment, maintenance, etc.).
• Support a comprehensive business plan, including market entry strategy, sales projections, and financial forecasts.
• Identify and assess potential target customer segments.

Business Development & Partnerships:

• Establish and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in the Hong Kong & North Asia marine industry, including marinas, yacht clubs, dealers, service providers, and government agencies.
• Negotiate and secure strategic partnerships to support business growth.
• Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets.

Sales & Marketing:

• Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to generate leads and drive sales.
• Oversee the development of marketing materials, including website, brochures, and social media content.
• Represent the company at industry events and trade shows. Business travel will be required.

Operations & Compliance:

• Establish and manage operational processes to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and industry standards in Hong Kong & North Asia.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales management within the marine industry in Hong Kong and North Asia.
• Deep understanding of the Hong Kong and North Asia marine market, including key players, trends, and regulations.
• Proven track record of success in launching and growing new businesses.
• Strong network of contacts within the Hong Kong and North Asia marine industry.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English and Cantonese is essential; Mandarin is a plus.
• Passion for the marine industry, entrepreneurial mindset and a commitment to excellence.
