Overview

This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimising product pricing strategies to drive profitable growth, strengthen market competitiveness, and support commercial objectives. You will partner with cross-functional teams to analyse market dynamics, customer value, costs, and performance data, translating insights into clear pricing recommendations and governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end pricing for a defined product portfolio, including price setting, discount frameworks, and approval workflows.
  • Conduct market, competitor, and customer analysis to identify pricing opportunities and risks.
  • Build and maintain pricing models (e.g., value-based pricing, elasticity, contribution margin, scenario planning).
  • Partner with Sales, Product, Finance, and Operations to align pricing with product positioning and revenue targets.
  • Monitor pricing performance and KPIs (e.g., margin, ASP, win rate, discount leakage) and propose corrective actions.
  • Support new product launches with pricing, packaging, and go-to-market recommendations.
  • Establish and document pricing policies, guardrails, and reporting to ensure compliance and consistency.
  • Prepare materials for commercial reviews and present insights to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3–8 years’ experience in product pricing, revenue management, commercial finance, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel; experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau/Power BI) and SQL is desirable.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into practical, commercial recommendations.
  • Solid understanding of margin structures, cost-to-serve, discounting, and price governance.
  • Experience working cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Mandarin capability is advantageous for local collaboration.
  • High attention to detail, strong organisation, and ability to manage multiple priorities to deadlines.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with pricing systems, CPQ tools, or ERP data.
  • Background in fast-paced, multi-product environments with diverse customer segments.

What You’ll Deliver

  • Clear pricing strategy and governance for assigned products.
  • Actionable insights that improve profitability and commercial performance.
  • Consistent reporting and measurable improvements to pricing effectiveness.
