Senior Manager, Product Management
The Senior Manager, Product Management oversees the establishment and continuous improvement of the Product Day 2 Governance Framework within the organisation. This role is pivotal in managing the end-to-end lifecycle of Product Day 2 items, ensuring effective prioritization and execution across multiple functions.
The position reports to senior leadership and involves managing a portfolio of initiatives, including enhancement requests, regulatory changes, operational improvements, and risk remediation actions. Success hinges on strong governance capability, project management expertise, stakeholder management, and the ability to drive execution in a complex environment.

Own and manage the Product Day 2 Governance Framework and operating model

Establish governance standards, prioritization methodologies, and delivery controls

Maintain a centralised Day 2 portfolio and ensure proper assessment, prioritization, and governance of initiatives

Develop and implement a risk-based prioritization framework balancing customer impact, regulatory requirements, risks, and benefits

Monitor portfolio health, delivery capacity, backlog, and progress, producing dashboards and reports

Oversee the execution of initiatives from concept through implementation and closure

Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and resource constraints

Facilitate cross-functional working sessions to resolve delivery challenges

Develop and maintain project plans, delivery roadmaps, and monitor progress against milestones

Manage project risks and mitigation actions to ensure successful delivery

Coordinate with project teams and update stakeholders regularly

Ensure documentation, approvals, and governance compliance across all projects

Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Systems, or related discipline

Have at least 8 years of relevant experience in Product Day 2 Management, Project Management, Process Improvement, Business Transformation, or Insurance Operations

Possess professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent

Be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Microsoft Excel skills
