Senior Developer – Trading Tech

What you will do
You will join our front-office technology team to help our stock and investment business grow. You will act as the go-to technical expert on the trading floor, working directly with traders, quants, and financial researchers.
Your daily tasks will include:

• Building software: Designing and improving applications used for day-to-day trading.
• Adding new data: Speeding up the way we bring in and use new financial datasets and trading ideas.
• Fixing problems: Watching live systems and quickly troubleshooting technical bugs to reduce system downtime.
• Helping the business scale: Creating reliable systems so the trading team can enter new markets faster.

What you need to know - MUST Have Skills 

• Expert Python skills: You can write high-quality, clean, and reliable code.
• Stock trading knowledge: You understand how futures, options, and complex trading strategies work.
• Front-office experience: You have a proven history of collaborating directly with live trading desks.
• Financial data systems: You know how market data feeds work on standard terminals like Bloomberg or Reuters.
• Reliability mindset: You take full ownership of your code, focus on system quality, and support your applications when issues arise.

Bonus points if you have

• Knowledge of how trading prices and financial risk metrics (like Greeks) are calculated.
• Familiarity with commodity markets.
• Experience with cloud platforms, container tools (like Docker or Kubernetes), and data automation pipelines.
