Technical BA
Our client is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join a team engaged in trading and capital-markets project initiatives. The company values a collaborative and professional culture, emphasizing clear communication and precise documentation. This role involves translating complex business needs into detailed, testable specifications, producing visual documentation, and coordinating stakeholder communication. The position is initially available for two weeks, requiring on-site presence in a hybrid working environment.
Role Overview:
This contract role is pivotal in eliciting, documenting, and managing functional requirements for trading systems or related projects. The successful candidate will ensure clarity, traceability, and alignment of specifications, facilitate stakeholder engagement, and support testing and quality assurance processes to enable successful project delivery.
Key Skills & Experience:
• Strong background in trading or capital-markets environment (order-management, execution, market risk, compliance, post-trade)
• Proven experience in gathering and documenting complex functional requirements (Agile/Scrum experience a plus)
• Hands-on with diagramming tools, capable of producing clear work charts and flow diagrams
• Experience writing acceptance criteria, organizing UATs, and structuring go-live plans
• Excellent written and verbal communication, adept at translating trading jargon into technical specifications and vice versa
• Track record of coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and managing stakeholder expectations

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead discovery workshops, interviews, and walk-throughs with traders, risk managers, and compliance teams to gather requirements
• Translate business language into precise, testable specifications and data-flow requirements
• Produce and maintain visual and specification documentation, including diagrams and flowcharts
• Maintain a requirements repository in Confluence/Jira accessible to all stakeholders
• Facilitate stakeholder coordination and communication, including progress meetings and status dashboards
• Support testing activities by translating requirements into acceptance criteria, organizing UATs, and managing defect resolution
• Liaise with IT, compliance, and infrastructure teams for solutions requiring cross-team effort
• Manage delivery activities through RACI matrices, escalation paths, and joint-team action items
Requirements:
• Right to work in the designated location
• Availability to start on 16/04/2026
• On-site working environment with no relocation required
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in trading or capital-markets
• Strong knowledge of listed derivative products
• University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Business, or a related field
