About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, high-caliber Vice President level Project Manager to join our APAC Finance Technology division. This is a highly visible, permanent position sitting within a key global business function.

Unlike purely technical project management positions, this role is heavily focused on top-tier stakeholder management, business engagement, and organizational soft skills. You will drive critical projects bridging financial technology, regulatory reporting, and robust business governance.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Project Delivery: Lead and manage end-to-end projects focused on financial accounting, regulatory reporting, and system governance across the APAC region.: Lead and manage end-to-end projects focused on financial accounting, regulatory reporting, and system governance across the APAC region.
• Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships, communications, and project updates up to C-suite and executive level.
• Governance & Control: Oversee project governance, controls, hands-on budgeting processes, and cost allocation methodologies.
• Collaboration: Act as the strategic coordinator between regional finance teams, external consultancies, and internal technology infrastructure divisions to ensure smooth project delivery.

 

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Industry Background: Must have a strong background in financial accounting and/or regulatory reporting within the banking or financial services sector.
• Governance & Budgeting: Proven hands-on experience establishing project governance structures, managing controls, budgeting, and driving cost allocation initiatives.
• Communication Skills: Elite verbal and written communication skills with a proven track record of navigating corporate environments and managing senior stakeholders.
• Education/Certification: A Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance or a CPA qualification is highly preferred (though solid, relevant career experience is equally valued).
• Consulting Pedigree: A background working within major management or financial consulting firms is highly advantageous.
