Agent Harness Research Engineer

Role Overview:
As an Agent Harness Research Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and building core modules such as Prompt, Tool Calling, Memory, and Workflow Orchestration for vectorized research applications. You will collaborate with quant researchers to embed data analysis, feature generation, signal validation, and report generation into reusable Agent workflows, integrating these with internal platforms and infrastructure. Your efforts will help pioneer AI tools, staying abreast of the latest models and frameworks through research and prototype development, ultimately supporting the organisation’s innovative AI applications.
Key Skills & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or related fields from top universities
• Proven experience with AI Agent, large model applications, automation workflows, Coding Agent, AI Research Assistant, data analysis platforms, or automation research systems
• Familiarity with Prompt Engineering, Tool Calling, RAG, Workflow Orchestration, or Agent frameworks, with strong engineering skills and problem-solving abilities
• Self-motivated, responsible, and action-oriented with a strong interest in real-world AI application deployment
• Good logical analysis, communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively with research teams
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop Agent Harness systems for vectorized research environments, including core modules like Prompt, Tool Calling, Memory, and Workflow Orchestration
• Work with quant researchers to convert data analysis, feature generation, signal validation, and reporting tasks into reusable agent workflows, integrating with internal platforms and infrastructure
• Stay updated on current AI models, frameworks, and tools; conduct technology research, prototype validation, and application exploration
• Drive the implementation of innovative AI solutions to enhance research efficiency and strategy discovery
Requirements:
• Right to work in Asia or eligible to work on a permanent basis in the region
• Degree in computer science or related disciplines from a top university
• Demonstrated experience with AI Agent development, automation workflows, or related projects
• Familiarity with relevant frameworks and tools, with strong coding and problem-solving skills
• Located on-site at the designated location
• Willingness to engage in a 2-week project start date from 03/06/2026
