AI Engineer

Role Overview:
The AI Engineer will focus on developing AI agents to improve operational rigor and automate manual processes within the organization. Acting as a key link between business needs and technical solutions, the role involves designing, building, and maintaining autonomous AI agents, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems, and delivering measurable improvements in time, cost, and quality.
Key Skills & Experience:
• 3 to 5 years of experience in software engineering, business process re-engineering, data analytics, or enterprise automation roles
• Hands-on experience with orchestration tools such as n8n, Zapier, Make, or MCP
• Proven experience building multi-agent systems, RAG pipelines, and cognitive architectures using frameworks like LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, or LlamaIndex
• Familiarity with Western AI model families (e.g., OpenAI GPT-4/5, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini) and Chinese counterparts (e.g., Alibaba Qwen, ByteDance Doubao)
• SQL skills and basic Python proficiency for data querying and workflow validation
• Knowledge of cloud and data concepts (AWS S3/DynamoDB, REST APIs, webhooks)
• Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin (written and spoken)
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct workflow discovery sessions with business units to identify repetitive manual processes and assess operational impact
• Architect and develop AI agents, integrating with proprietary orchestration layers and leveraging suitable frameworks for complex reasoning tasks
• Apply AI models including LLMs, RAG, vector search, and prompt design to various workflows
• Take end-to-end ownership of automated workflows from design through deployment, monitoring, and optimization
• Operate and manage production automation workflows, monitoring system health, troubleshooting incidents, and implementing guardrails to maintain stability
• Collaborate with engineering teams on platform needs, custom integrations, and securing high-impact projects
• Create clear automation specifications covering triggers, inputs/outputs, edge cases, fallbacks, and testing procedures
