Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to take on the role of Associate Director, Policy Admin. The position entails leading a dynamic team within the life insurance industry, promoting operational excellence, and ensuring optimal service delivery. The role focuses on streamlining processes, automating systems, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across policy administration functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the team to maintain and surpass service standards while fostering performance improvements.
  • Optimise resources across the team through process streamlining and automation, building a robust and effective operating model.
  • Develop and execute initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and client experience.
  • Collaborate with multiple business units to meet departmental and organisational objectives.
  • Create and maintain MIS and monitoring reports from trend analysis to support service and process enhancements.
  • Deliver training and coaching to team members to meet evolving business and market requirements.
  • Supervise daily operations and ensure procedures and manuals are updated to support operational sustainability.
  • Lead the policy administration team to achieve defined operational targets while ensuring compliance and quality standards.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to help the team adapt to changes with resilience and competence.
  • Participate in and support ad hoc projects and broader business strategies as needed.

Requirements:

  • University degree or above.
  • LOMA / FLMI designation preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of solid experience in policy administration within the life insurance industry, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of insurance products, operational procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements including AML, FATCA, and CRS.
  • Proven track record in team leadership, influencing stakeholders, and problem-solving.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and accountable, with a strong drive to overcome challenges and deliver results.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and capable of Chinese typing.
