About the Role
We are seeking a mid-level IT Business Analyst to join a Tier-1 global investment bank’s front-office Cash Equities technology team. You will act as the critical bridge between institutional trading desks (High-Touch and Program Trading) and software engineering squads, taking ownership of core enhancements for the desk's Order Management System (OMS).
Key Responsibilities

Requirement Gathering: Partner directly with front-office traders, sales, and operations to map out, analyze, and prioritize technical requirements for the trading platform.

Functional Specifications: Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications for developers.

Testing & UAT: Coordinate system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring new OMS features line up with trading desk workflows.

Production Support Liaison: Validate user-reported trading bugs, reproduce issues in test environments, and document them clearly for the development team.
Requirements (Must-Have)

Experience: 3 to 7 years of total experience working as an IT Business Analyst within a financial services environment.

Domain Knowledge: Direct exposure to Cash Equities, Securities Trading, or Front-Office Trading Workflows.

System Knowledge: Hands-on experience working with or supporting an Order Management System (OMS) or an Execution Management System (EMS).

Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills to confidently manage intense front-office stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have

Experience with vendor systems like Fidessa, Charles River, FlexTrade, or Bloomberg TOMS.

Solid understanding of the FIX Protocol or institutional client connectivity pipelines.

Academic background in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
