Settlement Team Lead

Role Overview:
The Settlement Team Lead will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the settlement team, ensuring accurate transaction processing and regulatory adherence. They will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient workflows, driving process improvements, and collaborating across departments to support operational resilience and growth.
Key Skills & Experience:
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial services operations
• At least 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience in a relevant setting
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related discipline
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Practical knowledge of financial tools such as Bloomberg or Tableau is highly regarded
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities under pressure
• Full professional fluency in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin (Putonghua)
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise the daily activities of the operations team to ensure precise, efficient trade settlements and onboarding processes
• Monitor transaction flows, manage escalations, and resolve complex or exceptional cases promptly
• Oversee reconciliation activities, trade lifecycle management, and related workflows
• Drive departmental budgeting, financial forecasting, and capacity planning efforts
• Collaborate closely with Risk, Compliance, Finance, and IT divisions to strengthen operational processes and support business expansion
• Contribute to strategic projects such as system migrations, UAT, and other high-priority initiatives
