Role Overview:
The purpose of this role is to lead and coordinate core middle office functions within the wider team, ensuring operational excellence, risk management, and seamless collaboration across internal departments.
Key Skills & Experience:
• At least 5 years of relevant middle office experience
• Deep knowledge of Asian equities markets, ETFs, and derivative products (including equity swaps)
• Strong leadership and team supervision skills
• Analytical problem-solving abilities with an acute risk-and-control mindset
• Exceptional communication skills; proficiency in Cantonese and Putonghua is an advantage
• Practical experience in delivering AI-driven solutions
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily operations including transaction processing, reporting, and trade support
• Partner with internal banking teams to align operational processes
• Manage risk and control programs within an operational risk framework
• Supervise and develop team members ensuring efficient handling of services, exceptions, and queries
• Maintain a proactive, client-focused approach to escalations and issue resolution
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant middle office experience
• Extensive knowledge of Asian equities markets, ETFs, and derivatives
• Ability to interface effectively with the Front Office and clients
• Right to work in the specified region
• On-site presence required
