Business architect & program lead

This role involves shaping the operations architecture, managing complex programmes, and leading change initiatives to ensure alignment with business goals. It is vital for delivering measurable transformation outcomes and embedding scalable new ways of working across multiple markets.

Role Overview:
The Business Architecture & Programme Lead plays a key role in designing and implementing the future‑state operations platform. Working closely with various stakeholder groups, the role ensures strategic initiatives are translated into structured, actionable programmes that deliver tangible benefits and support enterprise-wide transformation.

Key Skills & Experience:
• Strong experience in business architecture, operating model design, or large‑scale operations transformation
• Proven track record in programme management for complex, multi‑stakeholder initiatives
• Solid understanding of change management and embedding new ways of working
• Experience executing AI or digital transformation roadmaps within operations or enterprise environments
• Strong stakeholder management skills across group and local business unit contexts
• Ability to translate strategy into structured, executable programmes with measurable outcomes
• Digital transformation background and experience driving multi-market change
• Knowledge of project management tools such as HW Program Manager and HW Change Management

Key Responsibilities:
• Map and define the future‑state business architecture for operations value streams across LBUs
• Design end‑to‑end operating models ensuring clarity on value streams, capabilities, and hand‑offs
• Partner with stakeholders to align architecture decisions with business strategy and transformation priorities
• Lead end‑to‑end programme management, including delivery, financial oversight, risk management, and dependency tracking
• Own benefits realisation, ensuring measurable transformation outcomes are achieved
• Establish and manage programme governance, including testing and utilisation of Central Operations resources
• Provide structured reporting and decision support to senior stakeholders
• Support enterprise‑wide change initiatives by embedding new structures, ways of working, and governance models
• Drive adoption of new operating models across all value streams, ensuring scalable and practical change
• Support execution of the Ops AI roadmap, translating strategy into operational initiatives aligned with business priorities
• Collaborate with market teams to drive operations transformation, ensuring consistency and value realisation
• Act as a key interface between group and local units for seamless execution of transformation functions

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field
• Insurance experience and background is a plus
• Digital transformation experience, especially across multiple markets
• Proven experience in programme management and large‑scale operations change
• Strong stakeholder management skills within group and regional contexts
• Eligibility to work on-site in the specified location
• Immediate availability or notice period aligned with the start date of 04/06/2026

Nice to Have:
• Experience with HW Program Management tools and HW Change Management processes
