Cloud Engineer

Role Overview:
The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for managing cloud infrastructure, engineering, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) across multiple cloud platforms. The role involves leading Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives, ensuring security standards, and working on innovative AI and data platform integrations to support the organization’s cloud strategy.
Key Skills & Experience:
• 5+ years' experience with public cloud implementation and architecture (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud)
• 3+ years’ hands-on experience using IaC (Terraform) for provisioning cloud resources and automation
• Strong understanding of landing zone architecture, cloud networking, and security concepts
• Experience with cloud security frameworks, CSPM, and AI security best practices
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in Chinese and English, with the ability to communicate complex cloud design concepts effectively
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and security configuration of Cloud IaC and Terraform modules, implementing best practices for multi-cloud workloads
• Conduct architecture reviews and root cause analysis for complex cloud issues, developing solutions to ensure security, compliance, resilience, and recovery
• Review and develop AI and data architecture patterns, integrating services like pubSub, CloudRun, Cloud storage, Kafka, BigQuery, Dataflow, DLP/Model Armor, and Vertex AI
• Collaborate with application teams and stakeholders to define and implement best practices for multi-cloud architecture, deployment, governance, and project management
• Regularly review cloud security posture management and compliance standards to ensure continuous improvement and adherence
Requirements:
• Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Must have experience with native public cloud services from AWS, GCP, Azure, or Alibaba Cloud
• Demonstrated ability to use Terraform for cloud resource automation
• Knowledge of cloud networking, security, and landing zone architecture
• Effective communicator in both Chinese and English, able to articulate cloud design and service concepts clearly
