Data Modeler

Role Overview:
The Data Modeler will be responsible for creating and supporting conceptual, logical, and physical data models, translating complex requirements into efficient data structures. They will collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineering, architecture, and governance teams to ensure models meet operational and analytical needs.
Key Skills & Experience:
• Strong understanding of relational and dimensional modeling
• Hands-on SQL experience for data analysis, profiling, and validation
• Experience with data modeling tools such as Erwin, PowerDesigner, or equivalent
Key Responsibilities:
• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models
• Support source-to-target mapping, data definitions, and data lineage
• Collaborate with various teams to translate requirements into scalable data models
• Support model review, validation, documentation, and resolve delivery issues
Requirements:
• Proficiency in HKGD SQL
• Right to work in the region
• Experience with data modeling in an insurance data domain (desired but not mandatory)
• Communication skills in good written and verbal English; Cantonese fluency is required
• Available to work on-site in a hybrid environment during the contract period
