About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Finance to join a growing consumer brand company based in Hong Kong. This is a newly created role and the successful candidate will be responsible for building and overseeing the finance function, supporting business growth, and providing clear financial insights to management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full finance function, including monthly close, management reporting, and financial analysis
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections to support business planning and decision-making
• Monitor financial performance and provide actionable insights to the management team
• Oversee tax compliance, statutory reporting, and internal controls
• Support inventory costing, margin analysis, and cost control where relevant
• Work closely with operations and commercial teams to improve processes and financial efficiency
• Build and refine finance systems and reporting tools as the business scales

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum 8–10 years of finance experience, with at least 3–5 years in a Head of Finance, Financial Controller, or similar leadership role
• Solid experience in commercial / product-based companies (consumer goods, lifestyle brands, e-commerce, retail, or trading preferred)
• Strong hands-on experience with monthly close, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Good understanding of Hong Kong tax and regulatory requirements
• Comfortable working in a lean environment and building processes as the company grows
• Proficient in English and Chinese (Cantonese / Mandarin); strong Excel and accounting system skills
