Senior Treasury Manager
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Treasury Manager to join the Treasury team of a leading financial institution. The role focuses on balance sheet optimisation, with involvement in APAC entities and senior-level reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor movements in the balance sheet structure and recommend strategies that balance risk and return
- Work with APAC entities to review funding pool performance and support them in addressing funding and liquidity matters
- Lead and coordinate senior debt issuance activities
- Prepare presentation materials for ALCO and IRC meetings
- Stay updated on financial market developments and support ad-hoc projects as required
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Risk Management, Accounting or a related discipline
- Professional qualification such as TMA, CFA or FRM preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience in treasury, ALM or risk management; experience in a sizable bank is an advantage
- Solid knowledge of Basel III and the HKMA interest rate risk and liquidity risk management frameworks
- Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in spoken and written Chinese and English
- Able to work under pressure and take initiative
