International RM

The International RM promotes the bank’s wealth management services, working closely with Business Development Managers to attract new clients and deliver exceptional customer experiences. The role supports the bank’s growth goals by up-selling and cross-selling investment and insurance products, contributing to revenue targets.

Role Overview
The International RM joins the bank’s wealth management team, reporting to the management team to develop and maintain relationships with high-net-worth clients. Success in this role is measured by customer acquisition, revenue growth, and the quality of client relationships. The role requires a deep understanding of local and regional banking practices, especially those relevant to mainland China, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Work closely with Business Development Managers to bring in new business and ensure seamless hand-over and partnership in managing customer experience
  • Up-sell, cross-sell, and provide regular market updates for investment and insurance products to customers
  • Contribute to the bank’s revenue and growth targets through customer acquisition and relationship development
  • Constantly identify customer needs and potential opportunities
  • Provide quality, professional services to wealth customers, enhancing their experience
  • Develop and deepen relationships with existing customers and acquire new-to-bank clients through existing ones

Nice to Have

  • A pass in HKSI 1, 7, 8, and IIQE 1, 2, 3 will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of banking products such as insurance and wealth management in mainland, Hong Kong, and Singapore
  • Good presentation and communication skills in English and Chinese (Putonghua)
  • Proven track record in developing customer acquisition channels
  • Sound knowledge of local laws, regulations, and risk management policies
  • Understanding of mainland culture and practices
  • Candidates admitted under the Immigration Arrangements for Non-local Graduates (IANG) are welcome

  • Aim to meet revenue and growth targets through customer acquisition and relationship deepening
  • Identify customer needs and explore new opportunities for wealth products
  • Deliver high-quality, professional service to clients, contributing to overall customer satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain enduring relationships with existing clients and acquire new clients through existing networks

Requirements

  • Degree holder
  • A pass in HKSI 1, 7, 8, and IIQE 1, 2, 3 will be an advantage
  • At least 5 years of sales experience, preferably in a banking environment
  • Proven track record in developing customer acquisition channels
  • Team player, sales-driven with good interpersonal skills
  • Sound knowledge of banking products such as insurance and wealth management products in mainland, Hong Kong, and Singapore
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua)
  • Able to adapt well in a sales and service-oriented environment
  • In-depth appreciation of mainland culture and practices
  • Candidates admitted under the Immigration Arrangements for Non-local Graduates (IANG) are welcome
