IT Security Manager

Role Overview:
The IT Security Manager plays a key role in overseeing and implementing security protocols within the organization. The position involves working closely with DevOps, Infrastructure, and other teams to identify vulnerabilities, support internal security controls, and ensure compliance with security standards, particularly in a cloud environment.
Key Skills & Experience:
• Strong IT foundation (networking, databases, microservices)
• Hands-on security knowledge (firewalls, gateways, authentication, encryption)
• Experience working in a cloud environment – AWS preferred
• Familiar with monitoring tools like Grafana
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile, and secure development practices
• Excellent English communication and documentation skills
• Background in development, infrastructure, or network security is a plus
• Previous experience in a security or network analyst role preferred
Key Responsibilities:
• Support IT security agenda (data protection, access control, resiliency)
• Assist with client audits and security surveys
• Respond to client security inquiries and conduct client-facing reviews
• Collaborate with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to gather evidence
• Help implement internal security controls and practices
• Work with DevOps to embed security into AWS-native applications
• Identify and prioritize remediation of security gaps
