Manager, Operational Resilience

Role Overview:
The Manager of Operational Resilience will oversee and enhance the company’s operational resilience framework, ensuring compliance with AXA standards. This individual will lead initiatives related to Business Continuity Management (BCM), IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM), and security incident response, playing a key role in safeguarding critical business operations and infrastructure.
Key Skills & Experience:
• Degree qualification in Business, IT/Engineering, or related disciplines
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in Operational Resilience and BCM
• BCM professional qualification such as CBCP or CBCI is advantageous
• Strong Business Impact Analysis (BIA) skills
• Experience in IT Infrastructure & disaster recovery highly advantageous
• Experience in Customer Service Operations advantageous
• Proven ability to communicate technical and non-technical concepts effectively in English and Chinese
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor ongoing Operational Resilience, BCM, and ITSCM against AXA standards and implement continuous improvements
• Act as the BCM Lead, coordinating the maintenance of Business Continuity Plans, including scenarios like Massive IT Outages and third-party unavailability
• Develop and deliver training on OR, BCM, BIA, and BCP maintenance
• Lead design and implementation of ransomware response initiatives for containment, eradication, and recovery
• Ensure a coordinated security threat response and support risk decision-making processes
• Provide training to the Crisis Management Team (CMT)
• Assist with Vendor Security Assessment and Due Diligence (VSA/VSDD) activities
• Define and document project and action plans, identifying potential roadblocks and solutions
• Lead projects related to business process design, systems integration, and risk analysis to identify and address resilience gaps
• Collaborate with departments to mitigate risks and improve operational strategies
• Conduct market research on security trends and propose solutions to security threats
• Oversee local facilities services and relocation plans as needed
• Drive operational efficiencies through innovative ideas while monitoring budgets
