Marketing Manager Japan
Our client is a leader in beauty and personal home care, fostering a dynamic and innovative work environment that values growth and creativity. The organisation is currently seeking a Marketing Manager to oversee marketing strategies, sales, and operations within the Japanese market, specifically based in Tokyo's CBD area. This role involves managing digital marketing initiatives, developing eCommerce platforms, launching new products, and supporting retail and salon channel activities, with a focus on premium product offerings. The position plays a vital part in expanding the company's presence and driving successful product launches in the APAC region.
Role Overview:
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading marketing efforts, managing product launches, and supporting sales operations in Japan, aligning strategies with regional sales objectives, and ensuring the successful introduction of new products to the market.
Key Skills & Experience:
• Experience in consumer electronics or related industries (specifically China Man Consumer Electronics background).
• Strong digital marketing and ecommerce expertise.
• Proven success in product launches and brand management within APAC retail environments.
• Ability to develop and set up online platforms such as Amazon and company websites.
• Knowledge of premium B2B salon and retailer channels.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage marketing activities for beauty and personal care products targeting the Japanese market.
• Set up and optimise Amazon platform and company website for product launches.
• Lead new product development and launch initiatives, including NPD activities.
• Support retail and salon channels, focusing on APAC retailer collaborations.
• Coordinate with regional and UK headquarters senior managers on strategic marketing and branding plans.
• Monitor marketing budgets and ensure effective allocation of resources.
• Oversee ecommerce and digital marketing strategies to increase brand visibility and sales.
Requirements:
• Right to work and reside in Japan.
• On-site availability in Tokyo's CBD area.
• Experience in marketing within consumer electronics or related sectors.
• Knowledge and experience in digital marketing, ecommerce, and product launching processes.
• Availability to start on 25/06/2026 for a 2-week assignment.
