We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our production support team in a full-time capacity, based in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical support for production systems and applications, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. This role requires a strong knowledge of Linux server environments, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience working with Linux operating systems, including server administration, scripting (such as Bash, Shell, or Python), and system monitoring tools. A solid understanding of networking concepts, system performance tuning, log analysis, and incident response is essential. Familiarity with middleware, databases (such as MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL), and cloud infrastructure platforms will be seen as advantageous.
Responsibilities will include monitoring production environments, responding to incidents, performing root cause analysis, and implementing preventative measures to reduce system downtime. Coordinating with other teams to deploy application updates, patches, and ongoing enhancements to system stability is also part of the role. Candidates must be capable of working both independently and collaboratively, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Experience with ITIL practices or a background in financial or technology industries is preferred, though not mandatory.
