Python Quantitative Developer
The Python Quantitative Developer role involves working within the Quantitative Development team to collaborate closely with quantitative researchers, designing, implementing, and deploying software for research and trading activities. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to cross-team initiatives across multiple asset classes, with a focus on building scalable research workflows.

Role Overview
The successful candidate will be part of a team that works directly with researchers to deliver efficient software solutions. You will have ownership of projects from inception through full engineering lifecycle, ensuring the development of reusable components and scalable workflows. The role requires effective collaboration with technologists and researchers and delivering high-quality technical implementations.
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers to design and build efficient and scalable workflows for research and trading
- Drive cross-team initiatives with technologists and researchers across all asset classes to meet the organisation’s objectives
- Assume strong ownership of projects throughout their entire engineering lifecycle
- Build and deploying software components that maximise re-use and global consistency
Key Skills & Experience
- Demonstrate at least 4 years’ experience with Python in a quantitative development environment
- Apply knowledge of modern software development practices: version control, agile development
- Communicate technical concepts effectively within a team setting
Requirements
- Hold a degree in applied math, physics, engineering, quantitative finance, or computer science
- On-site employment in Hong Kong
- Available to start on 02/09/2026, with a temporary engagement of 2 weeks
