We are currently seeking a driven and experienced Relationship Manager to join a leading financial institution serving High-Net-Worth (HNW) clients. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage and expand a portfolio of affluent individuals, delivering bespoke financial solutions while maintaining the highest level of client service.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of wealth management products, regulatory requirements, and have a strong track record in building and sustaining client relationships. You will be expected to grow the HNW segment through proactive acquisition and deliver tailored solutions across investment, credit, insurance, and estate planning products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted adviser to HNW clients, providing comprehensive financial advice tailored to their individual goals and circumstances.
- Manage a portfolio of existing HNW clients, ensuring excellence in service and the delivery of a holistic wealth management strategy.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to acquire new HNW clients through networking, referrals, and prospecting activities.
- Collaborate with internal product and investment teams to develop customised solutions across multiple asset classes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements.
- Keep up to date with market trends, macroeconomic developments, and regulatory changes to better advise clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; relevant postgraduate qualifications such as CFA or CFP are advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a relationship management or private banking role, with a proven track record of managing HNW client relationships.
- Strong knowledge of wealth management products including structured products, mutual funds, insurance, credit, and alternative investments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence clients at all levels.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is highly desirable due to client base.
- Results-driven with strong business development and networking capabilities.
- Sound understanding of financial regulations in Hong Kong and best practices in risk management.
