We are seeking a highly driven and analytical professional to join our client's Risk Advisory team in Hong Kong. This role is ideal for individuals who possess a deep understanding of risk management principles, regulatory compliance, and financial controls across various sectors. You will work with clients to assess, manage, and mitigate risks to enhance their operational efficiency and compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, designing and implementing internal control systems, advising clients on regulatory requirements, and supporting business processes through risk analytics. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to identify vulnerabilities, communicate complex risk concepts clearly, and deliver pragmatic solutions aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide risk advisory services to clients across industries, focusing on operational, financial, regulatory, and strategic risks.
  • Evaluate existing internal controls and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Assist in the development and deployment of risk management frameworks and policies.
  • Support clients with regulatory compliance initiatives and risk reporting.
  • Contribute to the delivery of client projects through research, analysis, and insights generation.
  • Identify emerging risks and trends relevant to client operations or industry developments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integrated risk solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Risk Management, or a related field. Relevant postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
  • 1–3 years’ experience working in risk advisory, internal audit, external audit, or a regulatory environment.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CA, ACCA, CIA, or equivalent, are preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise risk management, internal controls, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and associated tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Cantonese or Mandarin is a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of data analytics or visualisation tools is a plus.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills, with a collaborative working style.
