Scrum Master

Role Overview:
The Scrum Master will facilitate Agile ceremonies, support teams in adopting best practices, and ensure the smooth delivery of sprint commitments. Additionally, the role involves managing production support, overseeing system enhancements, and coordinating with stakeholders and external vendors to ensure project success.
Key Skills & Experience:
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master with solid project management exposure
• Hands-on experience managing production support and delivery of system enhancements
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Certification in Scrum (e.g., CSM, PSM) is advantageous
• Experience within insurance or financial services is mandatory
• Experience working in large, enterprise environments is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives (70%)
• Drive Agile best practices and foster a strong Agile mindset across the team
• Remove impediments to ensure smooth sprint delivery
• Coach teams on Agile principles and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with product owners on backlog prioritisation
• Manage delivery of production support and system enhancement initiatives (30%)
• Track project progress, risks, issues, and dependencies
• Coordinate with business and IT teams to align delivery expectations
• Act as the key liaison between business users, technology teams, and external vendors
• Manage vendor delivery, ensuring alignment with project timelines and quality standards
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior management
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master with project management background
• Hands-on experience with production support and system enhancements
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Relevant Scrum certification (e.g., CSM, PSM)
• Experience in insurance or financial services is mandatory
• Ability to operate in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
• Right to work in the required location
Nice to Have:
• Experience working in large organisations or enterprise settings
• Knowledge of the .net v2 technology
