(Senior) Cloud Engineer
Our client is looking for a (Senior) Cloud Engineer to help design, secure, and automate cloud infrastructure across multi-cloud environments. In this role, you’ll work on reusable Terraform modules, strengthen cloud security and compliance, and support cloud architectures for modern AI and data platforms. Your contributions will help ensure reliable, governed deployments that teams can build and scale with confidence.
Role Overview: You will be responsible for shaping cloud architecture and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices across the wider engineering teams, partnering with Application, DevOps, and Platform to define deployment and governance standards.
Key Skills & Experience:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing and architecting public cloud solutions across AWS, GCP, Azure, or Alibaba Cloud
• 3+ years of dedicated experience using Terraform for automated provisioning
• Deep understanding of landing zones, cloud networking, CI/CD pipelines, IAM, and security monitoring
• Fluency in English and Chinese (written and verbal)
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the design of reusable Terraform modules for multi-cloud workloads
• Implement and monitor Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), landing zones, and compliance baselines
• Review and optimize cloud architectures supporting modern AI models and data platforms (e.g., Vertex AI, BigQuery, Kafka, Pub/Sub)
• Partner with Application, DevOps, and Platform teams to define deployment and governance best practices
Requirements:
• Higher Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
• 5+ years public cloud implementation and architecture experience (AWS, GCP, Azure, or Alibaba Cloud)
• 3+ years Terraform experience for automated provisioning
• Ability to fluently communicate technical designs in English and Chinese
