We’re seeking an experienced Senior Credit Underwriter to join our Credit team at a leading global financial services group. This role suits someone with strong analytical skills, commercial awareness, and proven expertise in credit risk assessment and client management.

Key Responsibilities
Credit Risk & Analysis
- Conduct detailed financial and business analyses across multiple industries
- Perform proactive information gathering, including buyer calls and visits
- Assess creditworthiness and set appropriate limits aligned with internal risk frameworks
- Monitor portfolio exposure and identify early warning signals
- Ensure adherence to internal and regulatory requirements
Client Management
- Manage a dedicated client portfolio with proactive service delivery
- Build strong relationships with clients, brokers, and stakeholders
- Provide clear, high‑quality credit advice balancing risk and commercial needs
- Act as a trusted advisor in client discussions and high‑level meetings
Business Collaboration
- Partner with Commercial teams to steer loss ratios and support portfolio profitability
- Contribute underwriting insights to business development and strategic initiatives
Requirements
- 7–8+ years in credit underwriting, trade credit insurance, or related financial fields
- Strong financial statement and risk analysis capabilities
- Proven client management track record
- Comfortable conducting company visits and senior‑level meetings
- Proactive, independent, and sound judgment
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business, or related field
- Fluent Cantonese; strong English and Mandarin required
- Experience in MNC or multicultural environment preferred
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
