Our client is seeking a motivated Underwriting Executive to Senior Underwriting Executive to join their dynamic Property Underwriting team. Responsibilities

• Assess, analyze, and underwrite property insurance risks in accordance with company guidelines and risk appetite.
• Manage a portfolio of property accounts, including new business, renewals, and endorsements.
• Collaborate closely with brokers, agents, and internal departments to ensure competitive and profitable underwriting results.
• Prepare and present comprehensive underwriting reports and contribute to pricing strategies.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
• Deliver tailored insurance solutions to meet client needs in a competitive market environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in property underwriting within the insurance sector, preferably in a senior or executive capacity.
• Recognized professional insurance qualification such as ACII or ANZIIF is highly advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of local and international property insurance markets, risk assessment techniques, and pricing models.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal); Cantonese and/or Mandarin skills are an asset.
• Proficient in underwriting tools and software, with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving abilities, and commercial awareness.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
