Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of AI workflows, including model deployment and inference optimisation
- Coordinate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate operational needs into technical solutions
- Establish and maintain engineering standards, CI/CD workflows, and monitoring frameworks
- Mentor junior engineers and data scientists to foster engineering excellence
- Stay informed of emerging AI/ML trends and evaluate new tools or methodologies for the organisation
Requirements
- Right to work in the specified location
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in AI system design, development, and deployment
- Proven experience in model deployment, inference optimisation, and MLOps tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD)
- Strong programming skills in Python (PyTorch/TensorFlow)
- Familiarity with building AI workflows and integrating with enterprise systems via RESTful APIs
- Ability to perform system analysis and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Fluent in Mandarin and English; Cantonese is a plus
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS), databases (SQL/NoSQL), and Linux/Unix environments
