This position requires in-depth knowledge of financial markets, treasury operations, and the latest regulatory frameworks, as well as the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with risk, finance, and treasury teams to ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Prepare management reports on ALM performance, including recommendations for asset allocation, funding optimisation, and capital usage.
  • Conduct regular stress testing and scenario analysis to ensure financial stability under varied economic conditions.
  • Engage in continuous process improvements, leveraging financial models and systems to enhance ALM efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in asset and liability management, treasury, or financial risk management within the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of ALM principles, liquidity and interest rate risk, capital adequacy, and regulatory requirements including Basel frameworks.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in financial modelling and scenario analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence strategic decisions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field. A professional qualification (e.g. CFA, FRM, ACA) is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Mandarin is advantageous.

This is a full-time position offering a competitive annual salary of £400,000, along with performance-based incentives and comprehensive benefits. If you are a results-driven ALM professional seeking to make a strategic impact in a dynamic financial environment, we encourage you to apply.
