We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled professional to drive our information safety initiatives within a fast-paced industry environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting sensitive data, implementing robust safety protocols, and ensuring our digital infrastructure adheres to the highest standards of information safety.

This role requires a deep understanding of information safety principles, cyber security measures, and risk management frameworks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement policies that safeguard critical information assets. Monitoring systems for potential threats, conducting audits and assessments, and staying up to date with emerging cyber threats will form an integral part of your responsibilities.

The position is based in Guangzhou, NA, China, and offers a highly competitive salary of £500,000 per year. We are looking for individuals who are proactive, highly analytical, and passionate about driving effective information safety strategies across all operational levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive information safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential threats.
  • Lead incident response efforts, including investigation, documentation, and recovery.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable data protection regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to implement security controls and best practices.
  • Deliver training and awareness programmes to promote a culture of information safety.
  • Monitor and analyse network traffic for unusual or suspicious activity.
  • Report regularly to leadership on information safety status and improvements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in information safety, cyber security, or related areas.
  • Strong understanding of information security principles, frameworks, and technologies.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Expertise in implementing ISO 27001, NIST, and other relevant security standards.
  • Experience with security auditing, compliance enforcement, and risk mitigation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in multicultural, international teams.
