We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager, Project Manager within the Insurance - Agency Compensation sector. Based in Hong Kong, this is a secondment opportunity from June 2025 to June 2026, aligned with GCF band 5. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the execution of strategic action plans designed to attract and engage young talent through our Internship Programme and BrighterGen initiatives. This role provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to the promotion and organisation of events and to help shape the brand identity of BrighterGen Academy.
Responsibilities include coordinating events and logistics, engaging with internal teams—including Branding, Legal, and Compliance—to ensure all promotional materials align with company guidelines. The role involves significant interaction with external vendors, designers, and technical support to drive the success of our events and outreach efforts. Additionally, the successful candidate will manage and curate engaging written and visual content for BrighterGen’s Instagram and Facebook channels, ensuring timely responses to community interactions and consistent messaging in line with the brand’s voice and objectives.
This position offers substantial scope for creativity and innovation, with opportunities to explore and implement new strategies to attract high-potential candidates into the BrighterGen talent pipeline. The Assistant Manager will also support various other projects and internal events, contributing to continuous improvement and effective stakeholder engagement across departments.
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Communication, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in event management, project coordination, or talent engagement within the financial or insurance sector. Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills—both written and verbal—are essential. Proficiency in content creation for social media platforms, fluency in English, and a keen eye for detail are also critical for success in this role. A proactive mindset, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and strong problem-solving skills are highly valued.
