We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Associate Director of Infrastructure Architecture & Delivery to lead and shape the infrastructure strategy and delivery within a dynamic and complex enterprise environment. This leadership role will be responsible for the design, implementation, and evolution of modern infrastructure solutions that support core business objectives in the insurance industry.
This role is based in Hong Kong, offering a monthly salary of HKD 120,000 with Bonus.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of infrastructure architecture strategies aligned with business goals and technology roadmaps.
- Manage end-to-end infrastructure delivery, ensuring high standards in performance, security, scalability, and availability across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Drive the design and evolution of hybrid cloud solutions, with a strong focus on Azure cloud architecture, including microservices, containers, serverless computing, and integration patterns.
- Oversee the implementation of robust enterprise network architectures that support digital initiatives and ensure business continuity and information security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure infrastructure initiatives are prioritised and aligned with organisational needs.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of infrastructure professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in infrastructure technology and management, with at least 4 years in a leadership or people management role.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering enterprise infrastructure solutions in the insurance or banking industry preferred.
- Deep technical expertise in Azure cloud services, hybrid cloud environments, microservices architecture, containers (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computing frameworks.
- Strong background in network design and implementation, including performance optimisation, scalability, and security best practices.
- Demonstracted ability in Infrastructure architecture design, roadmap defining and project delivery.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Education and Certification
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is an advantage.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, TOGAF, or similar are strongly desirable.
