We are seeking skilled and motivated Business Analysts with experience in the Banking and Insurance sector to join our dynamic team in Hong Kong. Successful candidates will play a key role in analysing business requirements, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting the implementation of strategic initiatives across various banking and insurance platforms.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, a keen eye for detail, and excellent stakeholder management skills. You will be expected to gather and document requirements, create functional specifications, facilitate effective communication between technical teams and business units, and support user acceptance testing. Knowledge of industry regulations, process mapping, and change management will be critical in supporting our clients’ continued compliance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse and document business processes, functions, and procedures to identify areas for enhancement
- Work closely with stakeholders to elicit, define, and validate business and functional requirements
- Create detailed business analysis, outlining challenges, opportunities, and solutions
- Collaborate with development and testing teams to ensure accurate translation of requirements
- Support project management teams with scope, planning, and monitoring of project deliverables
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to drive engagement and consensus across stakeholders
- Assist with user acceptance testing and post-implementation review
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- 1-10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the Banking or Insurance industry
- Strong knowledge of financial products, operations, and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in tools such as MS Excel, Visio, JIRA, or Confluence
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin a plus
- Certification such as CBAP or PMI-PBA is advantageous
