In this role, you will play a crucial part in growing our merchant network, especially within the SMB segment. You will be responsible for driving merchant acquisition and managing key relationships, primarily in the food and beverage sector. This opportunity involves developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of our offerings.
Key responsibilities include:
- Executing strategic plans to acquire and grow a portfolio of SMB merchant partners
- Developing and maintaining industry connections, particularly in the F&B space
- Monitoring market trends and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities
- Collaborating with operations, account management, and marketing teams to align on goals
- Providing merchant feedback to improve product and sales processes
- Enhancing merchant experience through ongoing engagement and support
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in business development or account management, ideally in the technology or e-commerce industry
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts
- Excellent interpersonal and analytical abilities
- A proactive approach and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to perform in a dynamic, high-speed environment
- Motivation to be part of a startup journey and contribute to building a successful venture
- Passion for making a difference in the regional market
- Familiarity with Generative AI tools to enhance productivity and improve workflows
