We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst with experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) projects within the banking sector. The successful candidate will act as a vital liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure the effective delivery of AI-driven solutions aimed at improving operational efficiency and customer experience.
In this role, you will be responsible for gathering and analysing business requirements, documenting functional specifications, and supporting AI product development from concept through to implementation. You will work closely with data scientists, engineers, and business users to identify business problems that can be solved with AI, and help to design systems that are both technically sound and aligned with strategic business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements for AI-related projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope and objectives
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis relevant to AI trends in banking
- Create process models, data flow diagrams, and use case scenarios
- Provide support throughout the AI development lifecycle, including testing and validation
- Ensure regulatory compliance and data governance in all data-driven activities
- Assist in change management and user training during system roll-outs
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the banking industry
- Proven experience working on AI or data analytics projects
- Strong knowledge of banking products, operations, and regulatory frameworks
- Familiarity with AI technologies and their practical applications in financial services
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum)
- Fluency in English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin is an advantage
Salary: HKD 60,000 per month
