We are seeking a skilled and motivated C++ Quant Developer to join our Equities Technology team in Hong Kong. This role is central to the development of innovative low-latency trading solutions, enabling cutting-edge execution performance across global markets.
As a C++ Quant Developer, you will design, build and optimise ultra-low-latency systems, working closely with central trading teams to facilitate high-performance trading strategies. Your contributions will directly influence trading outcomes and leverage your deep expertise in systems design, networking, and programming.
Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain execution algorithms, order management systems, and low-latency messaging architecture.
- Optimise performance of trading infrastructure to support real-time, high-frequency strategies.
- Enhance system efficiency through advanced systems and network programming techniques.
- Design tools and systems for historical market data analysis and backtesting frameworks.
- Support the automated testing framework and performance benchmarking suite.
- Collaborate with traders and researchers to define requirements and deliver solutions in a high-paced environment.
- Professional experience of 5+ years in front-office finance, with significant exposure to low-latency trading systems.
- 10+ years of cumulative experience in software development, primarily focused on C++ programming in performance-critical applications.
- Strong academic background in Computer Science or related discipline.
- In-depth knowledge of C++ (including C++17/C++20), with solid understanding of multithreaded and asynchronous programming.
- Proven experience designing and implementing low-latency, high-throughput trading platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating system internals, performance tuning, and network stack.
- Experience in equities and futures trading systems with a real-time processing focus.
- Working familiarity with Python for data analytics and quantitative research.
- Understanding of execution algorithm performance analysis.
